Madonna teamed up with Maluma to record Medellin, 2019 Some reggaeton artists expressed their displeasure at the rise of mainstream music in the year 2020. But a newly formed group called Rauw Alejandro, wanted to continue the growth and evolution of reggaeton. It often blended elements from electronic dance music and other forms.
