Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a pro. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She repeated her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she had in any major role. Ladd won the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 at ESPN. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
