Dina originates from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she relocated to Dix Hills on Long Island right before the end of her junior year. There are two of her siblings: one of whom is older, named Gregory as well as a younger sibling known as Evan. She began her career in the field of entertainment at nine and was modeling. Ron Stetson trained her in the acting techniques of Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. It took around three years. Others who have received this training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, among others. Her first role was in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate from Los Angeles to Los Angeles. After landing the lead role in Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts herself, she positioned her self as an actor athletic. Through the agents of Matt LeBlanc that she was to be able to get a regular part on Friends.
