Mitchell's closest friend Angela 15, who was fifteen years old when she died in a loss in an accident involving the vehicle and a car, also wrote about her event. Mitchell experienced a difficult time with this incident, and Angela was the inspiration behind Mitchell's track Angel on her debut album. The book Chicken Soup of the Preteen Soul along with the 7th Heaven episode, Nothing Endures But Change also mentions this incident.
